Archymos (a fictitious name used to protect the client’s privacy), a renowned company in the chemical industry specializing in the production of resins and other synthetic materials, sought to revamp its website to better reflect its brand identity and enhance user engagement. The project was commissioned by Netfolie, with Founder and President Dennis Markessinis and his team providing essential resources, including the brand book, site structure, content documents, and brand assets.
To ensure an organized and consistent design process, I began by preparing the working environment using the Lumos design libraries. On the right, you can see a summary board showcasing all the variables that were set.
This approach allowed me to:
Defined colors, typography styles (H1, H2, H3, etc.), spacing etc...
Facilitated efficient updates and adjustments throughout the project.
Ensured that all design elements adhered to Acquista's brand guidelines.
With the foundational elements in place, I proceeded to design an initial draft of the homepage. The final design of the homepage is displayed on the right.
Sent the draft to Netfolie for approval.
Incorporated minor adjustments based on the client's input.
Achieved a design that met Acquista's vision and brand identity.
Building on the approved homepage design, I moved forward with the other pages. You can view the complete project overview here.
Since some content was incomplete, I used lorem ipsum text where necessary, as requested by Netfolie.
Applied the established design variables to ensure a cohesive look and feel across all pages.
Structured the layouts to accommodate future content seamlessly.
The project culminated in a cohesive and visually engaging website design that:
Aligns with Acquista's Brand: Reflects the company's identity and values.
Enhances User Experience: Provides intuitive navigation and clear information hierarchy.
Facilitates Future Updates: Allows for easy integration of final content without altering the design structure.
Leveraging Lumos ensured consistency and efficiency.
Regular updates and feedback loops with Netfolie led to timely approvals.
Utilizing placeholder text kept the project on schedule despite incomplete content.
This project showcases the importance of a structured approach and effective collaboration in web design. By integrating design and development processes and maintaining open communication with Netfolie, we delivered a website that not only meets Acquista's current needs but is also adaptable for future growth.
